When should I expect to get my capes shipped?
We are working extremely hard to ship out preorders in late July/early August.

Will my clients get too hot wearing this cape?
The fabric of the cape is light and breathable. The insertable weighted pad which is 100% cotton is also designed to be breathable. With an adequately ventilated space, sweating should not be a problem.

What if the client falls asleep?
It is our job as hair professionals to provide a comfortable, relaxing environment for our clients. Whether it's a comfortable chair, a comfortable cape or ambience. Clients falling asleep is usually not due to external factors.

How do you wash this cape?
Simply remove the weighted pad from the interior neckline of the cape and store it away. Wash the cape only in the washing machine using regular detergent; use warm or cold water and dry on medium heat.

How do you insert the weighted pad?
- Lay the cape face down on a flat surface.
- Unfasten the zipper at the back of the cape.
- Tuck the left flap of the weighted pad into the left sleeve of the cape, then tuck the right flap of the weighted pad into the right sleeve of the cape.
- Tuck the bottom of the pad into the bottom of the pouch and zip it up.
- With the pouch side on the inside, drape the cape over the client as you would a traditional cape. Always handle the weighted cape by grasping the side with the weights.

Will the cape help with anxiety?
Studies have shown that deep pressure therapy can help alleviate stress and anxiety especially in individuals with sensory impairment, autism, ADHD etc.

What fabric is the cape?
The cape is 100% polyester but it does have a hint of spandex for elasticity. The material is breathable and extremely durable.

What if the cape is too heavy for the client?
If the client doesn't like the weighted cape, simply remove it or consider purchasing the lighter 4-pound alternative. If the client dislikes it altogether, you can also use the cape without any pads inserted.

How do I store the weighted cape?
Simply fold it at the top where the weights are gently place in a cabinet, drawer or on top of your barber/stylist chair

Which weight should I get?
Both the 4lb and the 6lb options work very well. It all depends on the level of pressure the client is comfortable with. Perhaps buy both so you have options.

Do I pay for shipping?
Yes. Unless you buy two or more.

Are the capes water resistant?
Yes, our capes are water-resistant, meaning they effectively prevent water from passing through easily. Please note that this differs from being waterproof or water-repellent."

Does the cape come in different weights?
"We offer a 4-pound option for lighter pressure and a 6-pound option for deeper, more substantial pressure. Despite its weight, the 6-pound option remains comfortable and manageable. For example, we have received positive feedback from women weighing around 140 pounds who particularly enjoy the 6-pound weights. Ultimately, the choice is based on individual preference and is not specific to weight or gender."
