What size should I get?

Yes, a good rule of thumb is to do 5% of your kids weight. If at least 30lbs do the 1.5lb cape, if at least 60lbs do the 3lb cape, if anything over 100lbs you can try the adult 4 lb cape.

 

What does the weights do?

The added weights help provide calming sensory input making the individual feel relaxed, safe and secure during the haircut. It feels like a hug.  

Can I wash it at home?

Absolutely — machine washable. Just take the weights out and wash the cape in warm or cold temps.

What if my child doesn’t like it?

 Please take it off immediately. Do not force them to wear it

What material is it made out of?

Does it have arm holes? 

Arm holes are only available on kids capes. 

How does it work?

Insert the weights in the zippered pouch on the interior of the cape and use like you would a conventional cape.
